You might have your favorites, the apps you feel like you can't live without, or you might be looking for that magic app that's going to change (rule) your life. We dec ided to cont ac t t he C PA Practice Advisor thought leaders - those notable visionaries who are leading the charge for change in the profession - to fnd out which apps have made a difer- ence in their work lives. There are 25 members of the CPA Practice Advisor thought leader group, along with fve hall of fame members. Tirty people, some perhaps too busy to reply, and probably some duplicate responses - we expected our informal survey to garner a manage- able number of efficiency-generating apps. Instead nearly 150 favorite apps landed at our doorstep! We're still experimenting and having a grand time learning about these new tools as well as being reminded of many we already know and love. So as not to scare you of, we're going to dish these out slowly.
