How is cloud computing changing the accounting profession, and how con- cerned are you with the security issues related to cloud computing? Cloud computing is providing firms with great freedom and flexibility while pro- viding increased security. The world class data centers utilized by the leading cloud providers cannot be replicated by most accounting firms. Cloud vendors also provide redundancy and backup which is often overlooked by accounting profes- sionals. How mobile are you regarding your work? How have mobile devices and apps impacted your productivity and work-life balance? Hobbies: Golfing, working out, cooking I can work remotely at any time. Advances with not only mobile devic- es, but also remote access to all work-related softwares has allowed me to work as efficiently outside of the office as I would work while sitting at my desk. What ONE piece of tech- nology could you absolute- ly not live without? I could not live without my iPhone. It al- lows me to not only stay in contact with my family and friends; it also permits me to stay abreast of work related items when I'm away from the office. Apple has pioneered great advances with- in the software, hardware and consumer empowerment by placing a computer or mobile device in just about every house- hold today.
